Naoya Hatakeyama : Slow Glass

Naoya Hatakeyama, an internationally acclaimed photographer from Japan, was invited to spend a four month residency in Milton Keynes and create new work for a touring exhibition and publication.

This series Slow Glass is his response to living in Milton Keynes, which is very car-dependent, and even before he came to England he had planned to use English rain in his work. The title Slow Glass comes from an American science fiction novel where special glass is put in the countryside to record the view and can then be viewed in your city appartment.
